Two appearances at outside right and another in the inside right spot were the sum total of this lad’s Hamilton first team career opportunities. He was signed from Loanhead Mayflower. Played many times for the reserves in the Scottish Alliance League.
Born in Cowdenbeath, he was only 5’5” and weighed 10sts 10lbs. He was reported to be a Schoolboy Internationalist. On his debut against Dundee he was very promising with his accurate crossing a particular feature. When the season drew to its close in April 1931, he was surprisingly freed.
Debut on 24th January 1931 in a Scottish League match at home to Dundee.
