HORNE, Sanny (1908)

Overview

A teenager when he was signed by Accies from Blantyre Victoria in 1908. Tried hard to make the grade at Douglas Park at centre forward, a position which not for the first time was causing concern.

By to-days scoring he did well but alas ninety years ago that wasn’t good enough and he was released and went to Royal Albert. In August 1911 he joined Wishaw Thistle. Lived in Ferniegair.

Debut on 15th August 1908 in a Scottish League match away to Clyde.
