GEMMELL, John (1900)

Overview

A player of which, like so many of the performers in the early years, very little has been recorded. In this case, he was a full back who had been with Clyde prior to being signed by Accies on 9th December 1900. He may have been with Newton Thistle as a junior and if so he was in the Cambuslang and District Junior FA side which met an eleven from Edinburgh in 1894.

Debut on 15th December 1900 in a Scottish League match away to Port Glasgow Athletic.
