Accies Career

Overview

A strong bustling centre forward who played with Maybole Juniors prior to being put under the microscope for Accies, signing for them in 1954.

He scored on his league debut, at Somerset Park, as Accies triumphed by five goals to three. He had a season and a half at Douglas Park with probable expectations of a rather longer Hamilton connection than that. On being allowed to leave in 1956, he returned to the south west when he signed for Stranraer.

Debut on 14th August 1954 in a Scottish League Cup match at home to Forfar Athletic in a 2-0 win.
