POLLOCK, William (1936)

Overview

He was the wearer of the number 11 shirt when the season commenced in 1936. The signing of Chris McNee kept him out of the first team and he was allowed to walk away with a free transfer the following May. Came to the club with experience, having been with Stockport and Chelsea earlier in his career. He was said to be rather timid and needed speeding up.

Debut on 8th August 1936 in a Scottish League match away to Falkirk.
