Overview

Chris played at Youth and Under 21 level for Northern Ireland and joined Ipswich Town, and it was from the English club that he joined Accies during August 2008. He was a member of the Ipswich side which triumphed in the FA Youth Cup in 2005. He had a loan spell with Millwall in 2007 without making the top team there.

On loan to Accies until January 2009. A tall red headed defender. On his debut he looked to be a decided acquisition to the squad. On 25th November 2008 while at New Douglas Park he played once again for the Northern Ireland Under 21’s in a 3-1 win versus Scotland. In 2009 he was honoured again, at “B” International level when he played again against Scotland at Broadwood, facing team mate Brian Easton, in a match won 3-0 by the hosts. As arranged previously he returned to Ipswich by January 2009.

From Portman Road he then went on loan to Wycombe Wanderers soon after. On being freed in May, 2009 he then returned to Scotland and signed a deal with Dundee not long after he had played against Italy for Northern Ireland. He then returned to Ulster on loan with Linfield.

Born in Co. Antrim on 12th January 1988.

Debut on 24th September 2008 in a League Cup tie away to Motherwell which Accies won 2-1 after extra time.
