Accies Career

Overview

Another much travelled player, Accies were his twelfth club when he was signed in 1996 after being released by Alloa. A six foot striker, he was a disappointment in his rather brief time with Accies, and he was released.

On joining Ayr United, he made a fantastic debut for them, scoring a hat-trick. With a new manager in place soon after, he left Somerset Park and gave Pollok Juniors the benefit of his experience. His senior clubs were as follows, St Mirren, Motherwell, Morton, Racing Club Pournasium, KIF Kolding, Albion Rovers, East Stirlingshire, Stranraer, Arbroath, Alloa Athletic, Arbroath, Alloa Athletic, Accies and Ayr United. Quite a list!

He later joined Maryhill Juniors but it was reported in August 1999 that he left there under a bit of a cloud and joined Shotts Bon Accord. By 2000 he was appointed as Head Coach to Shettleston Juniors. In the spring of 2001 he switched clubs and went to Neilston Juniors. 2002 saw him enticed back to the top grade from Neilston Juniors and had a short time at the helm with East Stirlingshire, but like so many others his time was soon over.

Born in Paisley on 15th November 1966.

Debut on 20th January 1996 in a Scottish League match as a substitute versus Dunfermline Athletic which was drawn 0-0.
