Accies Career

Overview

Another member of the Under 16 side who was signed in 2003. He had shown promise as a midfielder and progressed to the first team squad, appearing mainly from the bench.

He was chosen to play for the Scotland Under 17 side against Malta in January 2003 and three months later he was in the Scotland Schoolboy Under 18 side which met the Republic of Ireland at Love Street. Ciarin was then chosen in 2004 to play for the Republic of Ireland at Under 18’s even although he had represented Scotland a year earlier, this being possible because the Scotland matches had been friendlies.

When he left Accies in 2004 he was signed by Aberdeen, however soon afterwards he was with Albion Rovers, and he was captain of the side there. His brother, Kevin, was a forward with Albion Rovers and Stenhousemuir.

Based in East Kilbride.

Born on 30th April 1986.

Debut on 18th October 2003 as a substitute in a Scottish League match away to Dumbarton which Accies won 3-0.
