Accies won by a single goal in Wednesday night's challenge match against East senior side Edinburgh City at Meadowbank Stadium. James McArthur nodded in a Kevin Davison cross from close in early in the second half. Accies had and created several chances, particularly in the first half, but all went a-begging in what was a fairly low key encounter.

Despite taking a large squad through a number of regulars were not involved in the game. Accies had a mixture of first team, u19s and a trialist or two and started with - Halliwell, McJimpsey, Easton, Neil, Elebert, McLaughlin,McCarthy, McArthur, McLeod, Cook, Gilhaney. Subs used were Gibson (Easton), Wake (McLeod), S Taylor (McLaughlin), Young (Cook), Davison (McJimpsey), Mackay (McCarthy).
