KERR, Jimmy (1941)

Overview

An experienced keeper who was loaned by Hibs in 1941. He had been signed from Ormiston Primrose in 1938 and went on to become a regular and was attracting the attention of the English clubs, most notably, Blackpool. He was a member of the victorious Hibernian side which won the 1941 Summer Cup. He was a part of the Hibernian side which was so successful in the late 40’s and early 50’s.

Debut on 8th November 1941 in a Southern League match at home to Rangers.
