Accies Career

Overview

He had been on Rangers books as a Form D signing prior to signing full time for Accies in May 2002, though he was part of the youth set up prior to that. While Chris Hillcoat was in charge Mahdi was given several opportunities to claim a regular spot in the side. As the team struggled, so did he and he was released. Could play in midfield or as a striker.

In February 2007 he was in the Glasgow University side which competed in the British Championship, among his team mates was Andy Arbuckle.
