Overview
An amateur who had up to the time he turned out for Accies been a first team regular with Queen's Park where he operated mainly in what was the number 5 spot. His first recorded appearance for the amateurs was on 11th February 1893 in a Scottish Cup tie against Heart of Midlothian therefore he was a seasoned campaigner when Accies had him.
Debut on 29th January 1898 versus Port Glasgow Athletic at home in the Second Division.
