McCLYMONT, William (1899)

Overview

6th Kirkcudbright Rifle Volunteers. Dalbeattie based. He was introduced when goalkeeper Tommy Henderson was injured. In his first match he lost five goals and that was a forerunner to his time at Douglas Park. None of his appearances ended in a clean sheet. He rejoined his former club on 4th October 1900. The following year he was with the little known Barholm Rovers.

Debut on 23rd December 1899 in a Scottish League match away to Abercorn.
