DUFFY, James (1928)

Overview

A young centre forward who joined the club from Lochgelly Celtic in the 1928 close season. He was a disappointment in his outings and was relegated to the reserve side which had been introduced again. He moved on to King’s Park and played at outside left for them against Accies in the Scottish Cup tie at Douglas Park on 15th February 1930, which ended as a 4-0 home win.

Debut on 11th August 1928 in a Scottish League match at home to Third Lanark.
