Played in goal when Hugh Edmonds was injured. He also appeared in another West of Scotland League fixture as well as the Lanarkshire Cup tie. He came from the Strathaven district. Loaned from Hamilton Garrison.

Debut on 4th March 1905 in a West of Scotland League match away to Kilmarnock.
