Overview
Played a trial at right half in a 3-2 home win over Stranraer in 1970, while a junior with Vale of Clyde. He disappointed and was not offered another chance. He was with Dennistoun Waverley and Cambuslang Rangers before playing for the Tollcross combine.
Debut on 27th December 1969 in a Scottish League match at home to Stranraer which Accies won 3-2.
