FINDLAY, James (1905)

Overview

Signed in September 1905 from Bellshill Athletic, he was an outside left of whom much was expected. Not for the first time the expectations were not quite realised. He was able to make a little history while at Douglas Park when he turned out in the Lanarkshire Cup Final in 1906 and received a winners medal in his only outing in the tournament.

Debut on 16th September 1905 in a Qualifying Cup tie away to Dumbarton when he scored in a 2-0 win.
