Overview

He started the 1971 season at centre forward after being signed from Blantyre Celtic and made a useful start with the club but then faded with the result that he was freed at the end of the season. He had been with Giffnock North prior to going to Blantyre, where he had scored ten goals in ten matches for the Craighead Park club.

Debut on 8th August 1971 in a Friendly Match away to Clachnacuddin which Accies lost 2-1.
