Overview

Joined Accies from Cadzow Oak. In 1897 he turned out for the Lanarkshire East X1 v West X1 at right back, though he played mainly on the left side. Bob was transferred to Celtic in May 1898, he then moved to Third Lanark in September 1898 for a fee of £40, his wage was £2 per week.

In 1903 Bob was signed again, this time from Third Lanark for a £20 figure. The recipient of a Lanarkshire Cup winners medal in 1905 and 1906 versus Dykehead and Airdrieonians respectively. Joined Albion Rovers in 1906.

A plumber to trade he worked on Hamilton estate. He died in 1934 at the age of 58.

Debut on 11th September 1897 in Qualifying Cup tie at home to Motherwell which Accies lost 4-3.
