CARSON, John (1962)

Overview

A trialist centre half in 1962. One of the players who were given a game in the pivots jersey as Accies looked for a player to take over from Willie Telfer on his retiral. John was with Wishaw Juniors. Reports suggested that he had a poor game and was not reckoned to be the answer. Prior to going to Wishaw he was with Hamilton Amateurs.

Debut on 24th February 1962 at Alloa in a Scottish League match which Accies lost 3-2.
