Accies Career

Overview

Eric Smith signed Raymond from Drumchapel Amateurs in 1974 and he was given several outings on the wing without much joy. Freed by Accies in 1977, he went to Queen's Park and played regularly for the Spiders until another move saw him with Clyde, from where he went on loan to East Stirlingshire, who eventually signed him on a permanent contract in 1981. He was employed in the printing business.

Born in Glasgow on 21st September 1955.

Debut on 29th August 1975 in a Scottish League Cup tie away to Queen of the South which Accies won 3-0.
