SCOTT, James (1932)

Overview

First appeared at outside left but later in the season he was played at left half as well. In his debut League match, Accies won 7-0, and he was reported as being useful. It was recorded in 1973 that he was the father of Jim Scott, another ex- Accies player who had been with Hibernian and Newcastle United among others and was also capped by Scotland and had retired from playing with Accies due to a leg break in 1973.

Debut on 31st August 1932 in a Lanarkshire Cup game against Motherwell at Douglas Park.
