WELSH, William (1913)

Overview

When Jimmy Watson was injured against Airdrie on 22nd March 1913, Accies turned to Welsh as his replacement for the remainder of the season as he was an experienced keeper as he had been with Douglas Water Thistle, Motherwell and then Royal Albert. He returned to the Raploch Park side at the start of the new season when Watson was fit again.

Debut on 29th March 1913 in a Scottish League fixture at home to Queen’s Park.
