PETERS, Martin (1923)

Overview

An outside left, said to be of slight build. “a much sought after junior” was how he was described by the local press at the time of his signing from Maryhill in 1923. His promise did not materialise and he was soon out of things at Douglas Park but not before he had got his hands on a Lanarkshire Cup winners medal in April 1924. By November 1924 he had signed for St Bernard’s.

Debut on 29th December 1923 in a Scottish League at home to Ayr United which was drawn 0-0.
