HEMPHILL, Alexander (1911)

Overview

Joined Albion Rovers at the start of season 1909-10 from Maryhill as a Scottish Junior Internationalist. In one of his early games he scored a hat trick against Dumbarton for the Coatbridge side. Came from Albion Rovers in December 1911. Found it difficult to gain a regular game thanks to the form of a certain Bobby McNeil, both being left wingers. He was with Dunfermline Athletic in 1912-13.

Debut on 16th December 1911 in a Scottish League match away to St Mirren in which he scored the only goal.
