McGUIRE, Eddie (1902)

Signed from Belfast Celtic on 27th May 1902. Eddie was a clever inside forward whose experience was invaluable to the Accies as they built up a side capable of performing in the First Division.

Transferred to Stenhousemuir on 30th April 1904. Resigned by Belfast Celtic in November 1904. In March 1907 when Ireland played against Scotland the Irish number 8 was an E. McGuire of Distillery, possibly the same player.

Debut on 16th August 1902 away to Motherwell in a Scottish League game.
