BRYDEN, Alex (1900)

Overview

Ex-Dalziel Rovers, the former Motherwell based junior club. He was a full back who appeared in eleven consecutive League fixtures in season 1900-01 before losing his place and never turned out for the club again. Most of his games were on the left side of the defence. Had an eye for a goal even as a back. As a junior he was part of the Dalziel side which won the Scottish Junior Cup in 1898.

Debut on 18th August 1900 in a home Scottish League match versus Port Glasgow Athletic.
