Overview

An extremely talented young man who was christened "Pele", by his peers, such was his skill. He was introduced into the team near the end of the 1981-82 campaign by Davie McParland.

Tragically, on 2nd July 1982, he died. The cause of death was cardiac arrest. He was only seventeen and had come to the club from Auchengill Boys Club in October 1981. He had previously played for Celtic Boys Club. Born in Parkhead on 22nd October 1964.

Debut on 3rd April 1982 as a substitute in a Scottish League match at home to Queen’s Park which was won 2-0.
