CALDWELL, Tom (1905)

Overview

Following several appearances in West of Scotland fixtures in 1904 it was thought that he would come to Hamilton then, however he was eventually signed from Blantyre Victoria in 1905, a centre forward. Tom was one of a number of new faces to appear that season. With Harry McIlvenny returning to the club, Tom found it difficult to get a regular game at centre and made several appearances at inside forward.

By the time Accies were admitted to the First Division in 1906 Tom had left Douglas Park. He may have gone to Clapton Orient in 1907.

Debut on 14th August 1905 in a Charity Match at home to Celtic.
