McDONALD, John (1900)

Overview

It was reported that he was a former Celtic signing and it was from the Parkhead side that he was said to have arrived at Douglas Park in 1900. He was part of a very clever forward line which brought the 1899-1900 season to its close. He was not kept on for the new term. An inside left.

Debut on 24th February 1900 in a Scottish League match at home to Partick Thistle in which he scored. The game was finished as a Friendly when the visitors complained about the ground conditions at half time.
