MILLER, William (1911)

Overview

A February 1911 signing from Larkhall United whom he had signed for from Glenview Juveniles in 1908. In the Larkhall Players side against the Lanarkshire side at Douglas Park on 30th April 1912.

Played in the Scottish Cup Semi-Final at home against Dundee at centre forward but a more experienced player was signed for the Final. His League outings the following season were limited to three, one of which was at centre half. He went back to Larkhall where he appeared with the Thistle later in his career. The eldest of the Miller brothers. His football career over he set up in business as an eye specialist with an office in Glasgow.

Debut on 18th March 1911 in a Scottish League match away to Heart of Midlothian.
