Accies Career
Overview
As a youngster he was with Govan based, Harmony Row. He then went to Campsie Black Watch before Partick Thistle took him to Firhill in 1985. There his bustling style brought him goals as a striker in the First Division. With Accies looking for someone to do the same for them in the league above Thistle, he came to Douglas Park in 1988. He did help the club to get a draw at Pittodrie and Fir Park when he scored at both grounds.
Before the season was completed he was on his way to Dunfermline with Steve Morrison moving in the opposite direction. While in Fife, Eddie had a spell on loan with Linfield in the Irish League. He next joined Dundee, a fact well remembered by Accies supporters as he scored two goals on his debut for Dundee at Douglas Park almost before big Willie had the teams announced. St Mirren were next to use him to assist their young side.
Born in Glasgow on 21st November 1964.
Debut on 29th October 1988 in a Premier League fixture at home to Hibernian which Accies lost 3-0.
