DUNLOP, John (1935)
Overview
Came to the club in 1935 from Vale Acoba Amateurs who were based in Alexandria. A goalkeeper. His only outing came when Jimmy Morgan was suspended for a three match spell and this young man played in the middle of them and lost four goals. In the match report it was stated that he had quite a promising debut, though at fault for the last goal. It has to be admitted that in the other two the other keeper lost a total of seven. A month after his Accies debut he assisted Albion Rovers when their regular keeper was out through injury.
Debut 7th December 1935 in a Scottish League match away to Albion Rovers.
