Overview

Tommy had been signed by Hibernian from Kirkford United and then he spent time with Armadale Thistle in 1955 as an inside forward. He left Easter Road for Hamilton in November 1956 when he signed for Accies. He played in few matches although his scoring rate was favourable. While at Douglas Park he was played at centre forward. He lost his place in the side when Gerry Tracy came from Ayr. In 1957 Tommy was then signed by Bo'ness United.

He was 5' 9 " and weighed 11sts 4lbs.

Debut on 24th November 1956 in a Scottish League away to Third Lanark in a 3-0 defeat.
