Overview

A former Blantyre Celtic player, he appeared at inside right on most occasions for Accies. He showed up well in Accies reserve side and with several other clubs said to be interested in his future he choose to join Hamilton. Made a splendid debut in a 4 all draw at Ibrox. He was unable to maintain a long term spot in the side. One or two of his later matches were played at right half and while in that position he showed that he had the ability of “shying” the ball quite a distance. He also played cricket for Uddingston.

Debut on 17th December 1932 in a Scottish League match away to Rangers in when he scored.
