Overview
Brought to Hamilton following his first class games for Junior Scotland as a Kirkintilloch Rob Roy player in 1921. He was a member of the Rob Roy eleven which beat Ashfield 1-0 in the 1921 Scottish Junior Cup Final in front of 26,000 at Hampden. Another honour gained as a junior came in 1921 when he was a member of the Scottish touring side which went to Norway.
A full back who was played almost exclusively on the left by Accies. Eventually lost his spot to another former Junior cap, Sandy Hunter.
5’8” and 11sts.
Debut on 17th August 1921 at home to Heart of Midlothian in a 1-0 home win.
