Overview

He was a former Wolverhampton Wanderers player who was signed during the war from the RAF. He was an amateur who played at inside left to Bobby Reid in his sole outing in front of an estimated 3,000 spectators. He had been with Wishaw Juniors earlier in his career and in season 1941-42 he was back assisting the Wishaw club. When the next season commenced he was appearing with Carluke Rovers.

Debut 22nd March 1941 in a Summer League Cup match at home to Morton.
