DALGLEISH, John (1918)

Overview

One of a number of players who came to the club in 1918 from the ranks of the juniors. He was a left half who had been with St Anthony’s then St Mirren Juniors. He received a bad injury in the opening match of the season against Queen’s Park and was out for two months. On his return he did not seem to be fully fit, therefore it was some time before he reappeared again. He had few opportunities to shine.

Debut in a First Division League match on 17th August 1918 away to Queen’s Park.
