BRYDSON, James (1899)

Overview

A first class outside right, he came from Partick Thistle in 1899 and was the clubs leading scorer in his first full season with 9 goals from his 18 League outings in 1900-01. At the close of the season he returned to his former club. He then came back to Accies and in six consecutive League games from 16th November 1901 he added a further 3 goals to his name. A clever user of the ball with a fair turn of speed. 1904 saw him with 6th GVR.

Debut on 9th September 1899 in a Scottish Qualifying Cup match away to Cameronians, though the game was played at Douglas Park.
