O'BRIEN, John (1900)

Overview

Chosen to represent Lanarkshire against Ayrshire in 1901. A former Thorniewood Rangers player whose position was usually in either of the wing half roles. He came to Hamilton from Albion Rovers and was reckoned to be a smart capture.

Debut on 25th August 1900 in a Scottish League match away to Ayr FC.
