FORRESTER, Tom (1923)
Overview
Drafted in at the commencement of the 1923-24 season for the opening match when George Waddell called off at the last moment. He was signed from Harthill Athletic and resided in the Armadale area. Said to be of great stature and ideally built for a centre half.
He disappointed while at Douglas Park, one critic felt that he would benefit from a spell in a lower League. Before the season had ended he moved to Royal Albert and went on to become a great favourite there. Later he played against the Albert while with Helensburgh.
Debut in the League on 18th August 1923 away to Airdrieonians.
