ROBERTS, Laurence (1920)

Overview

With Irvine Thornley on the casualty list a number of players were given the opportunity to fill the centre forward position. This young man had been with Burnley, Rangers and Renton prior to coming to Hamilton in 1920. He was able to retain his place until the close of the season. He moved on to Dykehead and in 1921 he was signed by Airdrieonians. Originally from the Carluke area.

Debut on 20th March 1920 away to Kilmarnock in a 2-1 loss.
