Overview

Turned professional with Dundee just before his eighteenth birthday in 1988. A small but nippy striker who had been with Jerviston Boys Club before going to Dens Park. He was freed after five years on Tayside and Accies tried to sign him at that time, however he chose to go abroad and played in Hong Kong and with St Andrews of Malta.

On arriving back in this country, Iain Munro pursued him again and after scoring a hat-trick in a reserve game, he was signed. He was at the club for just over a year when he was released, much to the surprise of some of the fans, as he had quite a good scoring record in his time at Hamilton.

He then joined Glentoran for a short time before signing for Billy McLaren's Queen of the South in 1994. Two years later he was allowed to leave Palmerston and he reverted to the juniors.

Born in Paisley on 11th September 1970.

Debut on 26th September 1993 in a Scottish League match away to Stirling Albion which Accies lost 3-1.
