Overview

Signed from Burnbank Athletic in September 1943. A right back who was from Larkhall where he played as a juvenile with Larkhall Rangers. He was transferred on loan to East Fife along with goalkeeper, Michael Ryan, in September 1944. Nine months later he was freed by Accies. While with Burnbank he was chosen to play at left back against a Blantyre Select on August 10th 1943 with Willie Telfer his usual club partner alongside him.

Debut on 26th February 1944 in a Southern League match away to Morton.
