ROSS, William (1915)
Overview
Signed from Cambuslang Rangers, in 1915, when he was capped for Junior Scotland in a match at Coventry. Also with Parkhead and Clydebank Juniors. A bit on the small side. He arrived at Douglas Park with all the right credentials however his lack of inches proved to be his downfall. His ratio of matches played to clean sheets was quite good but when he lost goals, he lost goals! His last two games for Accies were in an 8-1 defeat by Morton and a 7-0 defeat by Dumbarton.
Debut on 2nd October 1915 in a Scottish League match at home to Kilmarnock.
