Overview

Willie was a strongly built inside left who joined the club from Partick Thistle in 1961 and replaced Johnny Divers who had gone to Clyde. In his time with the club, Willie was the scorer of some special goals. After eighteen months at Hamilton he was released. He lacked pace, but was an asset in the goalmouth.

Debut on 4th November 1961 at home to East Fife in a Scottish League match won 2-1 by Accies.
