Overview

Irvine born on 31st August 1980, “Bo” was a junior with Irvine Meadow in 1997 when he was signed by Ayr United. He signed for Accies in July 2001 from the Somerset Park club. He had been loaned out to both senior and junior clubs while with Ayr. In order of appearance they were, Irvine Meadow, Queen of The South, Alloa Athletic, Brechin City, Troon Juniors and Glenafton Athletic.

He spent two years at New Douglas Park with the latter of the two being his most productive in terms of goals scored. In January 2002, he went on loan to Newry Town for three months. On his debut for them he scored after only 28 seconds against Portadown. A tall fair haired frontman who, on being released by Accies in 2003, was quick to get a place in the Kilwinning Rangers line up.

In 2007 he was a member of the Irvine Meadow side which won the Stagecoach Premier First Division title. He later moved to Townhead Park with Cumnock Juniors but was placed on the transfer list in November 2009, a month later he was released.

Debut on 15th September 2001 in a Scottish League match away to Stenhousemuir in a 2-0 defeat.
