SMITH, David (1919)

Overview

A 1919 signing from Ashfield Juniors, he made all his appearances on the left wing. He turned out for Armadale versus Hibernian in the Scottish Cup in 1920 on loan. His ratio of goals scored to games played was good for a winger, however he was released at the end of the season. Transferred to Armadale in 1920. In 1942 he was acting as trainer to Wishaw Juniors.

He was 5’6” and the scales made him 10sts 6lbs.

Debut on August 16th 1919 away to St Mirren in a Scottish League game.
