ANDREWS, Gary (1989)

Overview

He joined Rangers from their Boys Club in 1986 and was a regular in their reserve team until 1988 when he was freed and he came to Accies. A lively forward, he only appeared as a substitute at Pittodrie in a 3-0 defeat on the day of the Hillsborough Disaster.

Freed a year after coming to Douglas Park he went to Queen of The South where he became a first team regular in the Second Division. Born in Glasgow on 21st August 1969.

Debut on 15th April 1989 in a Premier League match as a substitute away to Aberdeen in a 3-0 defeat.
