BOW, James (1931)

Overview

This chap came into the side at inside left in his four outings, with Jimmy McLuckie, who usually appeared there at that time, going to the other inside position. Mr Bow was probably a reserve. He was signed from a Fife junior side in September 1930. Born in Lochore, he was only 5’6” and 10sts 8lbs, reckoned to be a bit on light side for First Division football. He received a bad head knock in his fourth match. He was one of those who was first to be re-signed at the close of season 1930-31.

Debut on 24th February 1931 in a Scottish League match away to Celtic.
